The largest gathering focused on Smart Manufacturing, from 13 to 14 June at BEC

The IMIC conference will take place within the framework of the BIEMH

Highly prestigious international speakers will address the main topics in advanced maintenance at the IMIC-Industrial Maintenance Innovation Conference, from 13 to 14 June at the BEC. They include digital twins, new business models, the application of 5G to maintenance, mobility as a service (MaaS), augmented human skills, self-repair and self-maintenance systems and social networks of machines for self-maintenance.

Thus, following a strategic and technological approach, the presentations are designed bearing in mind the users’ technical needs. The focus will therefore be on the latest Smart Maintenance/Predictive technologies and other technologies related to manufacturing, asset and facility management and production reliability within the framework of advanced maintenance. The conferences will feature top-level speakers such as Jay Lee, a renowned mechanical engineer who earned a doctorate from George Washington University and who is now a member of the Board of Directors of Foxconn; Nikolaos Koutrakis, from the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK; Ramin Karim, the founder of PREDGE; and Francisco Adame, the CEO of DEUSER.

IMIC will be held as part of the BIEMH-International Machine Tool Biennial, the trade fair that is the largest gathering focused on Smart Manufacturing and which provides interesting synergies. Also featuring will be Addit3D, the International Trade Show on Additive and 3D Manufacturing; BeDIGITAL, an event aimed at the industrial application of digital technologies; and WORKinn, an industrial employment forum.

Professionals wishing to attend the IMIC conference have the option of registering at a reduced price until 17 May. Moreover, the IMIC conference accreditation will also provide access to the exhibition areas of the events that are to be held in parallel.
